I've spent a dozen years with Fleishman-Hillard (FH) — one of the world's largest and most respected public relations firms — and I can't believe the places I've gone, the people I've met and the things I've done. I began as a Senior Account Executive in the Kansas City office in 1996. I've served two years as Global Co-Chair of the Marketing Communications Practice Group, spent four years as a Senior Partner and Creative Strategist in our New York office, and now sit on the other side of the country heading up the consumer team in our Sacramento office.
The work has allowed me to receive interesting voice mails from Martha Stewart, carry Henry Bloch's suitcase for a day, and watch Dr. Maya Angelou enchant a room full of editors. I've traveled to Paris, London and Cairo, not to mention Dayton, Boise and Amarillo. I've brought attention to greeting cards, talked about the nutritional value of dog food and warned people about the perils of fake insurance. Who knew?
