JOHN ARMATO IS A SENIOR PARTNER, CREATIVE STRATEGIST, and past Global Co-Chair of the Consumer Marketing Practice Group at Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, dividing his time between New York and Sacramento. He is a marketing communications veteran who provides strategic counsel for corporate, nonprofit, and association clients. Known as an excellent writer and creative thinker, he helps organizations position their brands, develop their messages, and effectively tell their stories so that they can achieve their business objectives. He helps guide the development of major programs for a variety of clients and account teams throughout Fleishman-Hillard's global network.
Armato also designs and delivers professional development programs related to the creative process, plan development and writing. A substantial part of his time is spent designing and running brainstorm sessions for clients. Some of his clients have included Hallmark, H&R Block, Visa, The Iams Company, Dunkin’ Brands, Subway Restaurants, Universal Orlando Resort, Teva Neuroscience, Novartis, MedImmune Genentech, the Egyptian Tourism Authority, U.S. Potato Board, National Association of Insurance Commissioners, Catholic Healthcare West, The Principal Group,The Wharton School, and the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness.
Armato has a diverse communications background — including journalism, advertising, graphic design, and public relations — that has yielded work recognized with dozens of honors (including two Silver Anvils) from a wide range of professional organizations.
A popular speaker, Armato has been featured at a variety of professional conferences and in the Public Relations Society of America’s teleseminar series. His “THINK INSIDE THE BOX” creativity session, "Unnecessary Confusion" plan writing session, and “Smart Words, Passionate Words” writing session are in demand across the Fleishman-Hillard network and among its clients.
